Steuart House

The Wekande Building & Property Company Ltd. was incorporated in 1954 to invest in property and to undertake property development. The Company was the owner of the valuable property in Wekande bordering Nawam Mawatha where the National Development Bank and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce are currently located. The Company is also the owner of the land on which “Steuart House” is situated in Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo.
