George Steuarts (Philippines) Inc., is an associate Company of George Steuart & Company (Private) Ltd. with a 40% holding in equity. It was incorporated in 1987 in the Philippines. This Company has served as a distribution channel for “Steuart Tea” in the Philippines and the Far East. In a market where tea is considered a medicinal preparation as opposed to coffee which is categorized as a preferred beverage, the Company has made significant efforts to popularise “Steuart Tea”. Regular
participation at Food Fairs and Demonstration Programs have helped tea sales to grow steadily in the Philippines. The Company has been successful in selling its product to supermarkets and star-class hotels in Manila. It hopes to extend its market to reputed airlines in future.
